High Performance Foundation
Big ambition, real change.
The High Performance Foundation is the charity co-founded by Jake Humphrey and Chloe Dannatt, born out of the High Performance podcast, with one goal: to build the mental strength of a million young people by 2030. Its free Game Plan programme brings the life lessons of the world's top performers into classrooms. Pivotal designed and built the Foundation's website as a gift, and is proud to be one of its Founding Patrons.

The Opportunity
A brand-new charity with a famous name and a launch gala already booked needed a home online, fast. It had to tell the Foundation's story to schools, donors and partners, take donations from the first day, and grow with a team that would be running it themselves. We met Chloe over coffee, offered to build it, and started straight away.

The Build
Designed around the brand, built to be run by the team. We wireframed the site, designed it in Figma around the Foundation's bold brand, and built it on Squarespace so the team could edit everything themselves. It went live in time for the launch gala, around ten weeks after the first meeting, and was checked at every screen size before the night.
The details a charity needs. Donations on every page, the registered charity number in the footer, a gallery for the gala photographs, and a short video tutorial so the team could add them themselves.

The Game Plan Hub
Free resources, in the right hands. In the second phase we rewrote the site's structure around what each visitor came for, and built the Game Plan resources hub. Teachers sign up once with their school and role to unlock every lesson, and because Squarespace couldn't do that out of the box, we built a custom sign-up that sends every new teacher straight into the Foundation's mailing list. We added analytics, a newsletter sign-up and donations through the Foundation's chosen platform.

The Message
Helping the message travel. We have helped with the Foundation's social media plan, pitched its national study of young people's mental strength to the press, and turned an opinion piece on young people out of work and education into a press release sent to national news, business and education journalists.

The Results
The site was ready for the launch gala and has carried the Foundation's story ever since. Teachers and schools have been signing up for Game Plan through it from the day the hub opened, and the programme now runs in classrooms across the country, including all 27 academies of one large trust. The Foundation's research study has followed nearly 4,000 young people across 28 schools. Pivotal still stands beside the Foundation as a Founding Patron.
