From Stage to Strategy: Meet Emily Warner
Careers don’t always follow a straight line. Emily’s is a great example of that.
Before stepping into the world of digital marketing, she spent over a decade performing on stage, including in West End productions. It’s an experience that shaped how she works today, building resilience, confidence, and the ability to stay composed in high-pressure environments.
From there, Emily went on to run her own wellness business. What started as a passion quickly became something much bigger. She managed every part of it, from planning retreats and building the website to running marketing campaigns and handling sales. At its peak, she was teaching over 200 students a week and leading fully booked retreats.
That period built a strong foundation in communication, organisation, and client relationships. It also gave her a clear understanding of what it takes to run and grow a business from the ground up.
Today at Pivotal, Emily works as our Account Strategist, bringing all of that experience together.
Working across account management and creative strategy, she manages a large portfolio of clients, her role sits between the bigger picture and the day-to-day detail, helping shape direction while keeping projects moving and relationships strong.
She’s someone who adapts quickly, whether that’s learning a new system, responding to changes in the industry, or taking on something completely new. She’s known across the team for her positive attitude and the energy she brings to her work.
Emily’s journey into marketing might not have been traditional, but it’s exactly what makes her approach so valuable.
