Taking Part in UEA’s Employability Week 2025

Our CEO, Tait Pollack, recently took part in Norwich Business School’s Employability Week 2025 at the University of East Anglia.

The annual event sees teaching paused for a week so students can focus on their future careers. It brings together more than 40 professionals from a wide range of industries to share experiences, insights, and career advice with UEA students.

Tait joined a panel alongside Rob Hall (Yawn), Alex Tosh (Sponge), and Sarah Herman (Freelancer), hosted by Alice Rose (Brandland). The session welcomed around 50 undergraduate and postgraduate students and was part of a busy programme designed to help students understand different career paths and strengthen their employability skills.

‘It was fantastic to see so many you and mature students so invested in their futures. Some amazing questions were asked and the organisers did a great job in creating an engaging and insightful environment. It was a pleasure to speak on the panel and offer some value on the ups and downs, lefts and rights, of having gone through the same journey myself. ‘

Although Tait studied locally at Norwich University of the Arts, taking part in UEA’s Employability Week was a great opportunity to connect with students from another Norwich institution and share insight from his own career journey.

Thank you to Norwich Business School and the team behind Employability Week for the invitation and for creating such a valuable space for students to connect with local employers and professionals.
