Pivotal Takes on Break’s Epic Quiz

Last week, the Pivotal team headed to Epic Studios for Break’s Epic Quiz, an evening that promised music, mayhem, surprises and an “EPIC” quiz somewhere in the middle of it all. 

It did not disappoint. 

Under the name Tait’s Angels, we went in with plenty of confidence. Unfortunately, that confidence did not translate into points, and we proudly finished in last place. 

Someone had to. 

A Quiz Night with a Difference 

This was not your standard pub quiz. 

Alongside the questions, there were dance breaks, plenty of laughs and a saxophone round where teams had to guess the song. There was also a lot of team discussion, most of which did not lead us to the correct answer. 

The fish and chips went down very well though, so at least one part of our table was performing strongly. 

Despite the final score, it was a brilliant evening and a great excuse to get the team together outside of the office. 

Supporting Break 

Most importantly, the night was all in support of Break, a charity we are proud to continue supporting. 

Break does vital work for young people in and leaving care, making sure they have support when they need it most. Events like the Epic Quiz are a great way to bring people together while raising money and awareness for that work. 

We may not have taken home the trophy, but we were very happy to be there, get involved and support such a brilliant cause. 

A huge thank you to the Break team for putting on such a fun evening. 

Tait’s Angels will be back. Hopefully with slightly more general knowledge.
