Pivotal Attends Norwich BID’s City Conversations Conference

Last week, Tait attended Norwich BID’s City Conversations Conference, an event focused on Norwich’s continued growth and the people helping shape the city. 

The morning brought together people who care about Norwich and want to play a part in supporting its next chapter. 

We are based in the heart of Norwich, so conversations like this matter to us. Not just as a business, but as part of the wider community. 

Thinking About the Future of Norwich 

The conference explored the role Norwich BID plays in supporting the city’s growth, helping create a place people want to spend time in and invest in. 

For Tait, one of the biggest takeaways was seeing the impact Norwich BID has already had across the city, as well as hearing more about the plans being put in place for the years ahead. It was encouraging to see how much work is happening behind the scenes to keep Norwich moving forward. 

The panel discussion was another highlight, with Tait particularly enjoying hearing from Nadine and the wider panel about the opportunities ahead for the city. 

That kind of conversation feels important. 

A city is shaped by the people who use it every day. The businesses based here and the organisations bringing people together all play a part in what it becomes. 

What Makes Norwich Feel Like Norwich 

One of the themes from the event was what makes a city feel distinctive. 

For Norwich, that is not just about history or heritage. It is about the feeling of the place. 

Norwich has a way of being ambitious without losing its sense of community. It is the kind of city where people pay attention to what is happening around them, and local projects often find real support because of that. 

That is something we see often, and something we are proud to be part of.

When you are surrounded by people and organisations doing incredible things every day, it naturally shapes the work you want to create and the standard you want to hold yourself to. 

City Conversations was a reminder of how much care and ambition there is behind the work happening across Norwich.
