A Sunday Afternoon at the Pivotal Family BBQ

On Sunday, the Pivotal team got together for our family BBQ at The Yard. 

It was a chance to step away from the usual working week and spend time together properly, with colleagues, partners, children and families all joining us for the afternoon. 

A big thank you to The Yard for hosting us and keeping everyone well fed with the BBQ and drinks. As expected, the food went down very well. 

Family, Food and a Bit of Crafting 

Alongside the BBQ, there was an arts and crafts table for the children, although it quickly became clear it was not just the kids who wanted to get involved. 

The DIY ice cream station was also a big hit, with everyone building their own desserts and making the most of a very good toppings selection. 

Time Together Outside the Office 

What really made the afternoon special was having time to properly catch up away from desks, meetings and day-to-day work. 

It was lovely to meet more of the families behind the people we work with every day, and to spend a relaxed Sunday afternoon together. 

Company culture is often talked about in big terms, but sometimes it is built in much simpler moments. Sitting outside with good food, watching the kids get stuck into crafts, and seeing everyone enjoy time together.
