Pivotal Company Day 2026
Last week, the Pivotal team stepped away from the day-to-day for our 2026 Company Day, spending time together reflecting, planning, competing, and celebrating as a team.
Hosted across several locations around Norwich, the day gave us the opportunity to reconnect outside of the office and spend time focusing on the people behind the work.
Starting the Day at Whitlingham Adventure
We kicked things off at Whitlingham Adventure, where we had a lakeside cabin booked for the morning’s company presentation.
With views across the water, it was the perfect setting to step back and look at the bigger picture. The presentation gave each team the chance to reflect on the year so far, share ideas, discuss plans for the months ahead, and align on where we’re heading as a business.
Company Days are always a valuable reminder of how much work happens across the business every week, and how important it is to occasionally pause and look at the progress being made collectively.
Fuelled by The Feed
Throughout the day, we were incredibly well looked after by The Feed, a local charity we proudly support and regularly work with.
The morning started with breakfast pastries and coffee before lunch arrived in the form of sandwiches, more pastries, and an impressive selection of cakes that definitely didn’t last long.
Supporting local organisations is something that matters to us as a business, and working with The Feed throughout the day felt like a fitting part of the event. Along with the catering, it was a reminder of the important work they continue to do across Norwich.
Raft Building and Competitive Spirits
After the presentations wrapped up, it was time to swap strategy for teamwork on the water.
The afternoon activity saw the team take part in raft building, splitting into two groups to design, build, and race their creations across the lake.
Congratulations go to team The Divas, who managed to secure the win and earn bragging rights for the foreseeable future. The Dupes also put in a strong effort, which is equally important...
As expected, the activity brought out plenty of competitive energy, questionable engineering decisions, and a lot of laughs.
Ending the Day Around Norwich
Once the rafting was complete, the team headed over to Redwell Brewery for pizzas and pints before finishing the evening at Space Studios rooftop for cocktails overlooking the city.
After a full day together, it was a great way to round things off and spend time together outside of the usual working environment.
Why Days Like This Matter
While Company Day is always a lot of fun, it’s also an important opportunity to reconnect as a team.
Agency life moves quickly, and it’s easy to spend most days focused purely on delivery, deadlines, and meetings. Taking a day to step back, spend time together, and focus on the wider business helps strengthen the relationships that sit behind the work we do every day.
It also gives us a chance to celebrate the people who make Pivotal what it is.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising the day, as well as the venues and local businesses who helped make it such a success.
