Role Overview
We seek a talented Junior Digital Marketing Designer to join our dynamic team at Pivotal, a leading digital marketing agency. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating visually compelling designs that drive engagement and conversions across various e-commerce platforms. Collaborating closely with our Marketing team, you will develop creative assets for email marketing campaigns, social ad creatives, and other digital marketing initiatives.
To excel in this position, you should have 1-2 years of experience in a design role within a commercial setting, a strong understanding of brand guidelines, and a keen eye for detail. Your ability to work under tight deadlines, manage quick turnarounds, and welcome constructive feedback will be essential. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar design software is a must, along with a solid educational background and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities
Design visually engaging email marketing templates, flows, and campaigns for e-commerce brands and industries, focusing on user engagement and conversion optimisation.
Create innovative and eye-catching social ad creatives that drive click-through rates and conversions across various social media platforms.
Maintain a cohesive look and feel across all client campaigns and marketing initiatives, adhering to style guidelines and brand voice.
Uphold the integrity of Pivotal's brand by consistently applying design guidelines across all company outputs, including presentations, graphics for social platforms, and other branded materials.
Translate clients' brand guidelines, tone of voice documents, and asset banks into compelling and engaging designs that balance creative flair with brand consistency.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ideate and conceptualise new marketing campaigns that enhance client metrics and overall campaign success.
Apply an analytical mindset to understand the impact of your designs on business metrics and use data to inform design improvements.
Be prepared to engage in client calls and discussions, representing Pivotal professionally and communicating design concepts effectively.
Key Qualifications & Skills
1-2 years of experience in a design role within a commercial setting.
Strong adherence to brand guidelines with a commercial design outlook.
Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Capability to work under tight deadlines, manage quick turnarounds, and welcome constructive feedback.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar design software.
Strong educational background with at least a Level 3 Diploma.
Superior communication skills with fluency in English.
Desirable
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
Experience with e-commerce design and email marketing.
Copywriting skills.
