About the role
As a Digital Advertising Executive, you’ll be a creative team player keen to develop your digital marketing and analytics skills. This is an entry-level position with the prospect of growing with the expanding department. This would be ideal for a recent university graduate or someone simply looking to build experience in the digital landscape.
Your day-to-day work will primarily assist the team in delivering successful advertising campaigns for our paid marketing (or PPC) clients that drive traffic and revenue on their websites. Your responsibilities will include, but are not restricted to:
Developing marketing strategies as part of the overall digital transformation of client businesses
Researching a variety of client markets, customer profiling and competitor analysis
Producing compelling ad copy to provoke interest and ‘direct response’ from target audiences
Analysing large quantities of data, spotting patterns and providing recommendations by client goals
Creating bespoke designs for visual ads across display and video to raise brand awareness and drive website traffic
Writing reports on performance and meeting with clients regularly to discuss strategy
Opportunity to assist with other marketing tasks such as social media and blogging
Skills & Experience
Essential
Knowledge and passion for marketing and advertising
Creative mindset and ability to collaborate on tasks
Well-organised, proactive and adaptive to varying workload
Analytical skills, good knowledge of Excel, being able to identify patterns and learn from data to take action
Desirable
Strong understanding of e-commerce and different offerings from Pivotal
Some knowledge of paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads. Experience would be an advantage but is not required
Design skills that could benefit from creating engaging ads for clients to attract customers
A higher education qualification in a relevant field such as marketing, business or computing would help but is again not essential
Previous experience of working in an agency environment
